From ABIS

ABIS is the German Special Interest Group (SIG) on Adaptivity and User Modeling. Our aim is to foster research in the area of adaptive systems. We organize annual workshops and maintain a mailing list. We are open to all who are interested in the field and specifically encourage students to join and make use of the expertise in our community. Members from outside Germany are welcome as well.

ABIS 2010 Workshop: 18th Intl. Workshop on Personalization and Recommendation on the Web and Beyond will be collocated with LWA 2010 in Kassel 4-6 October 2010. The Call for Papers is now online available

ABIS stands for "Adaptivität und Benutzermodellierung in interaktiven Softwaresystemen". ABIS is a SIG in the departments Human Computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence of the German Gesellschaft für Informatik.
